Meet Our Team

Samantha S.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a registered dental hygienist at Rovel Dental, where I’ve been proudly working for the past three years.

I’m originally from New Jersey, but I moved to Florida 13 years ago with my mom and sister. Although Florida is now home, New Jersey still holds a special place in my heart—I visit often! I earned my degree in Dental Hygiene from Palm Beach State College, where I developed a deep love for the sciences.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by all kinds of science. Dental hygiene was the perfect fit for me because it combines human anatomy, pharmacology, pathology, sociology, embryology—you name it! Every day I get to apply what I’ve learned to real-life patient care, helping individuals with their unique dental needs.

I knew I had chosen the right profession when I treated a patient who was incredibly nervous and hadn’t seen a dentist in years. They were hesitant to even sit in the chair, but by the end of our appointment, they were relaxed, grateful, and smiling. That experience reminded me that being a dental hygienist is about so much more than cleaning teeth—it’s about creating a safe, caring space where people feel confident in their health.

Outside of work, I’m extremely close with my mom and sister—they’re my best friends. I’m also a proud cat mom to two sweet rescues, Bean and Tater. I’m a nature lover through and through—you’ll often find me beachcombing, snorkeling, bird watching, hiking, gardening, or capturing nature’s beauty through photography. At the end of the day, there’s nothing I love more than unwinding with a good book.

Talie S.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Talie! I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 5 years experience in the dental field after graduating from Palm Beach State College. I was originally a hairstylist before transitioning into the dental world. My work experiences have allowed me to build excellent interpersonal skills and most importantly the enjoyment of building relationships.

I was born in Haiti and moved to Florida at the age of five. Being bilingual in English and Creole is a blessing that helps me to further connect with my patients. My goal for each visit is to enhance my patients dental experience.

Outside of work I have a huge family so there’s never a dull moment. I have seven siblings and I’m married with three kids. In my leisure time I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. My favorite place to travel is to the Caribbean islands because I take pleasure in trying different foods.

I love my job because Dental hygienists play a crucial role in preventing and managing dental diseases while developing close relationships with our patients, easing dental anxiety and building trust. I benefit from helping my patients maintain healthy mouths and potentially reducing the risk of other diseases.

Veronica T.

Registered Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Veronica! I’m a Registered Dental Assistant with 8 years of experience at Rovel Dental. I was born and raised in Palm Beach, County Florida. I earned my Dental Assisting diploma in 2013.

I’ve always been passionate about healthcare, but I just knew I wasn’t meant to save lives. Instead, I realized I was meant to save teeth, and that’s how my dental career began!

Being bilingual in English and Spanish has been such a meaningful part of my career. It allows me to connect with patients from all backgrounds, help them feel at ease, and make sure they fully understand their dental care every step of the way.

Outside of work, I’m all about family time. I love making memories with my amazing husband and our two wonderful kids, whether we’re traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or just relaxing at home with our four sweet and adorable cats.

Melissa F.

Registered Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Melissa! I’m a Registered Dental Assistant with over seven years of experience in the dental world. I was born and raised in Cuba, and being fluent in both English and Spanish has been such a gift, it’s helped me connect with patients on a deeper level and make them feel truly seen, understood, and comfortable during their visits.

What first drew me to dentistry was the chance to truly make a difference in people’s lives. There’s nothing better than seeing someone leave the office smiling with confidence after we’ve helped them reach their dental goals. That feeling never gets old!

I realized I had found my calling when I noticed how excited I was to head to work every day. Waking up no longer felt like a chore, I genuinely love what I do, and that passion has only grown stronger.

When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me planning my next travel adventure, soaking up the sun at the beach, or savoring a strong cup of coffee (or two!).

Yamilett U.

Patient Coordinator Advocate (PCA)

Hi, I’m Yamilett! I work as a Patient Coordinator at Rovel Dental, and I’m incredibly passionate about what I do. I was born in Florida and come from a multicultural background—my family is from Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. Right now, I’m studying Biology at Wiley College with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist—and hopefully a dentist one day!

I joined the dental field because I’ve always been drawn to helping people. There’s something really powerful about being able to ease someone’s anxiety, provide compassionate care, and send them off with a smile they feel confident about. One of the moments that confirmed I’m in the right profession was when I witnessed a patient see their new smile for the first time—it was emotional, joyful, and deeply affirming.

My professional interests are centered on preventive care, patient education, and reducing dental anxiety. I love being a resource for patients, showing them how small habits can make a big difference over time. I truly believe prevention is the heart of great dentistry.

Outside of work and school, I’m the middle child in a family of five, and I have a sweet dog named Caramelo. I’ve been playing soccer since I was four years old, and I now play at Wiley College. If you ask me about my favorite team, the answer is easy: Real Madrid! I also love painting, going for runs, and spending time at the beach. Being in the dental field has been a dream of mine since I was little, and I feel grateful every day to be walking this path.

Helen R.

Patient Coordinator Advocate (PCA)

Hi, I’m Helen! I realized I was in the right profession when I found myself genuinely enjoying the daily interactions with patients. There’s something deeply rewarding about creating a positive first impression and helping people feel at ease—those moments made it clear that this role was a great fit for me.

Outside of work, I’m always on the hunt for new dishes to try—food is one of my favorite ways to explore the world! I also enjoy getting lost in a good book and dabbling in art when time allows. At home, I’m surrounded by my many pets who always manage to keep life fun and interesting.
